In partnership, Newcastle City Council will oversee the development of a range of business premises in the West End of the city to encourage business retention and growth in the area. A total of 22,500 square metres of purpose built modern business and commercial accommodation will be built at three sites across the area - the Whitehouse Enterprise Centre site in Scotswood, Loadman Street in Elswick and Riversdale Way in Lemington. Along with significant investment from the private sector, the programme is supported through investment from both the Homes and Communities Agency and Bridging NewcastleGateshead.
